What is the Continuance Return Loop?

The Continuance Return Loop is Scentualist’s return system for used Continuance refill inserts and their packaging. It allows materials to be returned, renewed, and prepared for continued use wherever possible.

It exists to honour continuity — not disposal.

Is the Continuance Return Loop the same as recycling?

Not exactly. While recycling may be part of the process, the Continuance Return Loop is designed as a considered return — prioritising reuse and renewal first, before recycling where appropriate.

What can be returned through the Continuance Return Loop?

Used Continuance refill inserts

Their accompanying packaging

This allows us to honour the full lifecycle of the refill.

Is returning my refill required?

No. Participation in the Continuance Return Loop is optional.

It is offered as an invitation — a way to complete the cycle for those who wish to do so.

How do I return my used refill?

Return instructions are provided as part of your Continuum experience, guiding you through the return when the time is right.

Is returning my refill complicated?

No. Everything required to return your used refill is provided as part of the Continuance Return Loop. Instructions are included, and the process is designed to be simple and considered.

Where is the Continuance Return Loop currently available?

The Continuance Return Loop is currently available within New Zealand, supported through our local logistics partner.

We are actively working toward an international return option for Australian clients.

What happens once my refill is returned?

Returned components are carefully received and assessed. Where possible, materials are cleaned, renewed, and prepared for continued use within the Continuum cycle.

Does returning my refill affect my Continuum subscription?

No. Returning a refill through the Continuance Return Loop does not affect your Continuum rhythm, pricing, or future refills.

Each return satchel is designed to hold two Continuance Inserts, allowing you to return your refills together in a more considered way — completing the cycle while reducing unnecessary packaging and transport.

How to Return

When your Continuance refill has been used:

Keep the original packaging your Continuance Insert arrived in

Place your empty insert back into its original packaging for protection during return

Place up to two packaged Continuance Inserts into the return satchel

Follow the return instructions provided

Send your satchel back using the supported return method

Returning your inserts in their original packaging helps protect them in transit and supports our sustainability practices by limiting unnecessary paper and cardboard waste.

Timing

Returns are not urgent, and they are never required.

You may return when the time feels right.
